This is a most wonderful treatment for people with headaches, stress, excessive ear wax and hay fever. It is exceptional for cold related symptoms; sore throats, thick heads and sinus congestion.
I’m otoscope trained so I can look into your ear to see how the treatments are progressing from one to the next. The candles I use are 100% organic; CE certified and have a filter within them. Often a course of three treatments are advised, some people choose to have as ongoing therapy due it’s relaxing nature.
A head and neck massage helps to complement the beneficial effects of this deeply soothing, therapeutic and relaxing treatment addressing the accupoints on the head helps the body to heal itself.
The candle looks nothing like a candle, more of a straw and once lit is placed in a comfortable position in the ear. It takes approximately ten minutes to burn and in this time you will experience a gentle warmth creeping into your ear. The warm air tumbles and turns as it massages, gently moving along the ear canal and bounces off the ear drum. It’s over way too soon…Some people fall asleep during these ten minutes. A brief external massage around the ear is performed before turning you over to do the other ear. Once this has finished, a scalp, face and neck massage is given using a silky beeswax product. We can open the candles at the end to discover what has been released during the candling treatment.
